When I stepped into this role as an admin assistant, I was like a fish out of water. No prior experience, a quiet personality, and unsure of my voice. But as the days turned into years, I found my footing. My confidence grew, my skills sharpened, and I learned so much, especially from Jacqueline.

What’s your most memorable experience in this industry?

There's a deep sense of satisfaction in knowing that I play a role in upholding the top-notch service standards that Jacq and her team believe in. It's inspiring and keeps me on my toes. I love assisting clients, understanding their requests, and ensuring they're addressed. Then there are the challenges—sometimes tough, always rewarding. Whenever I overcome them or tick tasks off my list, I feel this amazing sense of achievement.

Away from the spreadsheets and financial plans, what are your go-to activities or passions?

On my off days, I love to cozy up with a Netflix show, spend time celebrating birthdays and hanging out with friends, or simply escape into the world of mobile games.

What makes the GEM Team feel like home to you?

The GEM Team is more than just colleagues to me; they're like my second family. It's that warmth, that camaraderie, that sense of belonging that makes it special.

Jacqueline also has a wonderful tradition of celebrating birthdays. On multiple occasions, she's surprised me with a celebration, thoughtful gifts, and team gatherings over a delightful meal. It's not just about birthdays, though. She makes every day special. From inviting me to team events to arranging a thoughtful staycation for my sister and me, to just taking me out for a nice meal. These are the moments that made me feel like we are family.
