Hi, I’m Jacqueline – a Holistic Financial & Estate Planner, and Director & Partner of Prestige Wealth, one of PFPFA’s top-performing districts. I co-lead a team of 40 associates and directly lead my own team, GEM. I’ve been in financial advisory since 2015, after four years in banking and four years with Singapore Airlines.
I come from a humble family—where even taxi rides were a luxury. I still remember our first and only family dinner at a coffeeshop when my sister graduated. That moment stayed with me because financial security was always an unspoken yet powerful value.
Why I Do What I Do
During my time as a mortgage specialist, my father was diagnosed with brain cancer. He wasn’t adequately insured and couldn’t access the care he truly deserved. I didn’t even understand why—because at that point, I didn’t know insurance. That painful experience opened my eyes and planted the seed for something deeper.
Later, when I moved into wealth management in the second half of my banking career, I started seeing more clearly where the industry fell short. The emphasis was largely on investment solutions and high-value insurance products—understandably so, given the banks’ performance metrics. But crucial areas like hospitalisation and critical illness coverage often took a backseat in planning conversations, even though they form the bedrock of financial security.
Legacy planning was another area that felt incomplete. Among affluent clients, the conversation often revolved around large universal life plans. While these are useful tools, proper estate planning—like writing a Will, planning for guardianship, or structuring distributions to protect children—was rarely discussed. These deeper conversations were typically reserved for Ultra High Net Worth individuals. But estate planning isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity, regardless of wealth. That realisation pushed me to take a different path.
Today, I guide individuals and families through holistic financial planning—from growing their wealth, to protecting it, and ultimately passing it on meaningfully. I also mentor a growing team of advisers to do the same—with heart, excellence, and ethics.
And beyond financial work, I believe in giving back. I’m very proud that my company, PFPFA, organises and contributes to charity efforts every year—not just through donations, but through action. We participate in giving initiatives and also raise funds at our annual PFPFA Charity Dinner. Giving back is something I personally believe in, and I’m glad to be part of a firm that lives out that value.
My Journey — And Why I Keep Going
In 2025, I was grateful to achieve TOT 2026—a recognition given to the top 1% of financial professionals globally. I reached this milestone within just five months, and also qualified for COT 2026 in nine days. It wasn’t something I set out to chase—but rather, a result of years of consistent effort and doing right by the people I serve.
Since 2020, I’ve been fortunate to achieve Court of the Table (COT) for six consecutive years. Before that, I was a three-time MDRT qualifier. These milestones serve as quiet reminders that genuine commitment and care go a long way.
My journey started in banking, where I worked 12 to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week to learn everything I could. I was blessed to be recognised in my first year—Top 2 in my department in my very first month as a mortgage specialist, and later ranked in the top 1% across Asia Pacific.
I graduated as the top Finance student and overall top student at RMIT Singapore. By my second year in the industry, I attained my Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Asset and Wealth Management at the Wealth Management Institute (WMI)—a postgraduate programme by GIC and Temasek, conferred by Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
I continue to learn and grow because I believe clients deserve sound, well-considered advice—and associates deserve leaders who lead by example. Titles aside, my greatest fulfilment still comes from doing right by the people who place their trust in me.
